Sunridge Partners (UK), LLP (“Sunridge”), a specialist food and agriculture investor, helping companies become clear industry leaders, has formed a new partnership with London-based charity City Harvest as a corporate sponsor, volunteer and strategic advisor.
City Harvest – ‘Rescuing Food, People and Planet’ – was founded in 2014 by a group of people who came together to address food waste and food poverty in London, becoming the capital’s first food redistribution charity.
By re-distributing food that would otherwise be wasted, the charity makes businesses more sustainable and more impactful. City Harvest takes food to grassroots organisations that feed some of London’s most vulnerable people. The charity currently rescues enough surplus food for over 1.2 million meals a month for people unable to feed their families.
Sunridge, which specialises in partnering with ambitious food, beverage and agriculture businesses to pursue accelerated growth and drive innovation in the sector, will support City Harvest as a corporate sponsor, as well as offering its time volunteering and supporting them with funding, food donations and industry connections.
